Savions Place (NEW Place for us in Kissimmee, Emeril visited Top 10) (130 miles RT) Misfits this Sunday we will be heading to a NEW place...for us a bit more on the upper scale, but not price wise. It is Savion's Place in Kissimmee. I spoke to the chef Curtis and he is looking forward to meeting our eclectic group. U want to look at their lunch menu you can go to their website www.savionsplace.com. Since this Sunday is going to be on the warm side, we will be sitting inside, those that smoke can walk outside. Emerill Lagasse (celebrity chef) visited this place and featured it on his show. They are reserving tables for us and we will be able to park in front of the restaurant, so come on Misfits lets go meet Chef Curtis! I will have a nice ride there and back, but it will be shorter so we can get back early to beat the heat. See you Sunday at 7/11 (US 1 & Post Rd.) @ 9:30am Misfit Weekly will be on our website today, I promise! I been busier than a one legged man in an ass whooping contest! Thanks, Cindy Visit our website: misfits-mc.proboards.com/

Sunday we headed to a new restaurant for our eclectic group. After taking our picture we mounted up and headed out west for our scenic ride over to Savion's Place in Kissimmee. I found this place on the internet and read what Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse had said about it. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. I called and spoke to the owner/Chef Curtis, he was excited we were coming for lunch and reserved us a table. We cruised some back country roads on our way over and found 4 empty spots in front of the restaurant, where we were all able to get parked. At noon they opened the door and we were escorted to our table. It's a small quaint place with an upscale feel (real cloth napkins) the Chef came out and shook everyone's hand and introduced himself. We really enjoyed our food and want to go back soon. Most said it was the best food we have ate on any of our rides. Brett had a big plate of steak and pasta, which he absolutely LOVED, I think it cost $13. A steak sandwich (REAL STEAK cooked to order) with parmesan fries was only $11, so we will definitely go back. There are other places close by we need to check out also. After everyone was finished, Owner/Chef Curtis came out and took a picture with some of the Misfits. Savion's Place was definitely the most upscale place, best food that the Misfits have ever been to, in 10 years. On our way back we made a stop at Camp Holly, a place we haven't been to in over 6 years. Sadly it has gone down hill dramatically, and is basically a bait store that serves cold drinks and air boat rides. This Sunday we will have a real short ride to a new restaurant, the Camelot Country Eatery. It is entirely to FREAKING HOT for long rides. This ride will get us back by noon, long before the heat sets in to bake the day. This will be my last ride before vacation. If you want to lead a ride let me know or post it on our website. Yall Be Safe Out There, Thanks, Cindy Visit our website: misfits-mc.proboards.com/
